no honey, i didn’t workout this morning

nothing says “i love you” like your husband giving you a call to ask if you actually hit the gym this morning like you half-heartedly told him you would the night before.

yes, i know i have a few pounds to lose and yes, i realize that my butt is sagging like water balloon, but no honey, i didn’t go to the gym and do the workout plan you suggested because a)… well, there is no “a)”, i just didn’t go.

see, a couple months ago i was on a “i’m getting it right and tight” mission! i was counting calories every day, hitting the gym, going for super long walks around the neighborhood. i was well on my way to getting that roll off my tummy. then we went on a beach vacation and the calorie counting/exercise routine went straight on out of the window.

so, how do you get your motivation back after falling way off the wagon? i don’t know. ’cause if i knew, i woulda hit the gym this morning. so please share how you do it! and let me know if your husband also gives nice, soft nudges about you getting yo’ butt in the gym.
